Onghiara International Film Festival of the Environment (OIFFE) features illuminating
and powerful films — films demonstrating appreciation and conservation of
irreplaceable natural resources, ways of generating a healthy and productive
future, and initiatives promoting a sustainable economy.

OIFFE presentations focus on innovative solutions to local, regional and global
environmental problems—not just offering hope that something can be done,
but taking the next step—demonstrating what can be done and how to do it,
celebrating creativity and innovation and encouraging implementation of
practical solutions.

Our premise is that environmental practices that benefit the biosphere also
benefit people, communities and businesses.

Our vision is to inform and engage audiences; to reconnect people with an
appreciation for their natural world; to nurture an understanding of sustainable
planet solutions through the power of film and other arts; and to demonstrate
exciting innovations and opportunities now being created for a more positive
future.

Our mission is to become an international showcase for environmentally
conscious arts — film, art and discussion — that entertain, inspire and explore
solutions to pressing environmental problems and new and exciting ways to
live better while sustaining life on earth.
